Born on December 10th of 1979 in Newark Ohio, Jane Scarlett was always involved in "the arts" in one way or another. Having fronted a number of punk bands in New York as a teenager up until a few years ago, Jane turned her attention to finishing school for graphic design. Always an avid fan of horror, as part of a school project she began a website dedicated to scream queens, creating a 50's style chainsaw-wielding catholic school girl persona to pen under - "Katie Chainsaw". The site garnered attention from horror and b-movie fans near and far. Towards the end of her schooling, the 23-year old actress claimed the lead role in, "Flesh for the Beast", which is quickly becoming a cult favorite. Jane has since gone on to do small cameos for "Zombiegeddon" as well as the UK horror-spoof "Freak Out!"
Currently residing in Jersey City and working in Manhattan as a web designer, Jane has collaborated with an array of photographers on photoshoots and continues to act as work arises. Aside from other projects in the works, "Katie Chainsaw's Reform School Massacre" is in the earliest stages of scripting, hopefully to come to full fruition sometime in 2004.
